A Poesia não se inventava a fim de amadurecer l'amor - que da parte restante ela sempre, então lá a não existido quando os primeiros kishes de pessoas. Foi lançada com a necessária finissage que celebra deuses magnificamente, e a conserva da memória, para a sedução do ritmo, as leis da tribo. O culto ou a captação da déité e a estabilidade social, estavam após estes dois máximos apenas attentivenesses humanos: - poesia, e constante, tenderão a recapitular nos esquemas de princípio, que continua pura, mais bonita e tensa que mais se é comprimida, ideia que é interessante e [vodyashch] das pessoas.

Desculpa, mas discordo totalmente! Pessoa é, na minha opinião, o melhor poeta da História de Portugal. Amo todos os seus poemas e admiro a forma como ele se consegue desligar ‘de si mesmo’ e escrever poemas com temas, caracteristicas e estilos completamente diferentes uns dos outros, sem nunca perder a sua graciosidade e perfeição lírica. O poema “O Menino de sua Mãe” é soberbo, é certamente um dos meus preferidos, juntamente com “Vem sentar-te comigo, Lídia” de Ricardo Reis.
